Artistic Routes
“Clumsy Routes”

During the three days of the festival, discover the group exhibition of artists in the traditional settlement of Marpissa.

How do they relate with this year’s theme of journey of Routes in Marpissa? Clumsily. And organically. The constant concern about how we revisit tradition, how and why we process mementoes conceptually, the interest in the point where the personal becomes collective and vice versa, summer readings, discussions and random encounters, old memories as a spectator of the festival, journeys from Paros to Prague Berlin Turkey and San Francisco, deconstructed symbols of the past, relocations that are repeated and acquire a new intensity in the current sociopolitical conditions, are intertwined in a proposal for a summer exhibition in a village of Paros that for three days it experiences its own festivity.

Artists: Paki Vlassopoulou, Natasa Biza, Persefoni Myrtsou, Apostolos Ntelakos, Constantinos Hadzinikolaou.
Curator: Despina Zefkili
