The idea of the festival Routes in Marpissa was born in March 2010 by private initiative. A group of young people with love and willingness to offer organizedthe first festival of Routes in Marpissa in four months! It was an innovative initiative for the island that has inspired and excited both residents and visitors ever since.
The organizing team consists of volunteers of different ages and backgrounds. Inspiration, creativity, cooperation, consistency and enthusiasm are the main characteristics of the group that evolves every year through a dynamic planning process, reconstructing the final result.
The main objective of the group is searching for the authentic, encouraging teamwork and action, the development of creativity, enrichment of knowledge and the strengthening of human contact and communication.
